You just have to tighten the bolt right, then there is no problem. When you tighten it, you need to lock the damper. If you lock the crank from the flywheel etc. you will most propably end up with a snapped key.

It might be couple of degrees off, but very very close.

Problem solved. Took the g28 out and that has been eaten away as it's a tiny bit longer than original. Got another in and it's all running

Car starts better, but that's really everything I can say at this point. I got it upto the temperature and it's all good. Need to put lights back in, bumper and basically all the little things, didn't want to rush it.

Changed coolant to red one (having blue one was embarrassing). As I was changing the pas fluid radiator, changed fluid too, but that all went on the floor when i didn't notice a kinked hose.

Will test drive it tomorrow and see how it runs, and what is going on with the boost. I hope it will all be fine do i can concentrate on getting ready for university.

Well done! Be careful with putting pink coolant straight in after blue, if you mix them they turn to brown sludge. Really needs a good flush with water a couple times to get rid of all the old blue stuff

i found that running the engine til hot and then carefully draining the stuff whilst the thermostat is still open, then running hot tap water through the system from one open ended hose to another gets rid of the crap in there.

a nice new expansion tank is always nice too as you can see the lovely pink stuff in there looking like a new car does. well, it won't hurt anyway!!

Runs like a dream. I am missing 0.1 of a bar, but I'll see if I have time to do boost leak, if not then well, 2.0 is good enough for me for now.

2.0 bar came at around 3500-4000rpm in 4th gear.
