Brilliant, have to go to uni in 2 days, and this piece of **** is not even running, and i have no idea what's wrong with it. It doesn't start, or when in does start it runs on 2 cyl.

Thats a shame i thought you had found the problem ie pos. The A8 is a beautiful car and as you say cheap as peanuts.I would like one myself but have too many cars as it is. I do hope you can get something sorted though.

I've been telling myself oh after this it'll be fine...but i am genuinely scared to drive it to Leeds as there is a high chance of it breaking down. And that isn't normal imho. What i find strange is the way it died. I was going up hill and saw that it's boosting, but had no power, revs slowely dropped and 3 4 5 cylinders stopped working. There was no juddering, no misfires.
Is there anything between ECU and POS, or ECU connects to POS straight away, in that case...could be ECU, because it's not POS.'93 Audi 100 Avant - R.I.P

It can be the coila s the wiring fails really easily on those original style coils. Teh wires get brittle and if you disturb them they break down and cause issues...Comment
