                Cheers Pal

That's the epoxy mastic. Good stuff binds to the surface really well but was nightmare to deal with. Clogged the spray gun twice on a 1.8mm tip and could not use the pot filter. Any over spray stays sticky for ages too.

Sounds like a plan but im really sorry to bring it up, sure thats the colour you want? Its not a Mk1 colour thats for sure and going for different is it going to 'pop' enough to make it worth it on the Mk1????

Just making sure you are totally sure on your colour choice is all bud.

I keep changing my mind its LZ5T or VW indigo Blue at the moment.
I have a little more time to decide.

Awesome work, I'd love to give my golf this much love.

That epoxy mastic paint is the best stuff I've ever used hands down, I used to buy the rust buster stuff but now I'm using jotun paint. You mentioned that it clog's the gun up, are you using thinners? I thin it down until it sprays nice with the recommended thinners and it goes on lovely.

I short no. I did not add enough thinners at the start but added a little more after it clogged.
