So I have modified my valve cover to fit my new tfsi coil cover.

I wanted to powder coat the valve cover black to match the other cover, but my painter is delaying it all the time.

So should I keep the valve cover stock or paint it black?

I think it will be black all the way

Regarding crank pulley, then my guess is previous owner thighten it using a air gun. I mean lots of the stuff done on the car seems half assed to be honest.

I mean who welds on a stud on the oil drain plug and then reuses it. A new one is 2£.

Also when I bought the car no rear wiper, no electrical mirrors and no heated rear window. I then check out the fuse box, and the fuses are missing.

Torben: are does your calipers? Are they power coated or just painted with normal caliper paint?
Yes, The coating is original - it looks more anodised than painted. The "PORSCHE" text earned me another trip to MOT after fiddeling with the old G60's

    Update on the project

So it passed the MOT without problem.

Did some minor repaires this weekend.

Discovered that the previous owner had blocked off the PCV system. No catch or anything just at plug at the MAF hose.

So new pipe from audi and back to oem for the time being.

Previous owner had also ****ed the oil drain plug and welded on it. But instead of changing it he reused with a washer and then over thighten it. I had to use a 1/2 meter pipe rench to get it loose. Bloddy annoying.

Also got some new calipers from germany, they need a little cleaning but otherwise fine.

Not sure if I should paint them black or keep them red?

    Hallo Jonas
    Nice car you have bought!

I have brand new crank pulley wheel you can have - (if you have the guts to use the stock wheel again)
