I'd buy those head bolts again too Janis, somewhere like quattro corner - I still haven't heard back from that f***ing courier on why they didn't deliver them to you nor why the 'returned' package never made its way back to me

I decided to leave head alone, don't have any reason to rebuild it. Hope you get them though.

Meh, if I need to do the head the bolts aren't exactly the most expensive part. It just cost me a few bob to find out that either Hermes, Parcel2Go or both are a complete set of incompetent pillocks

Been going through service history, and came across a receipt that says head have had a rebuild @144k which would explain why it's in such a good nick.

Did some sandblasting today, not fun but had to be done. This is just one bit

Is the head coming off to do the rings though? Or are you just doing the cambelt etc and leaving the motor alone?

Leaving the internals alone. Don't have any reason to touch it for now. I'll do that job once I decide to go more powaaaaah and can do rods at the same time.

Plan is to get her back and running in next 2 weeks, but that depends if parts arrive on time. Fingers crossed.

Intake is going back on tomorrow, still waiting for crank seal, oil pump seal and then the rest can go on
