I am getting this noise from the underside of the car on cold starts. Sounds like one of the propshaft CV's have given up. I have a spare waiting for rebuild and balance but in the meanwhile, Is there anything major that can happen?

Emissions were high, CO about 0.5 over the limit, so sports cat is something that needs to be considered when new exhaust is made.
