I'm enjoying your updates tremendously from my lazy couch . God job zo far! Thanks also for posting some of the sources of your parts. With Audi parts getting rare and very expensive, that's very helpful.
Been following this thread for a while now, great to see it all coming together now. just re read the thread too
im also glad that i find the time to work on s2.. not so often as i would wish.. have a bunch of parts gathering dust but i think in spring it will be drivable and till winter will enjoy it and after that will be the next step.
I can relate to that too, I’m really close to finishing renovations on my house and can dedicate some time to getting parts I have fitted. Trying to get over the flu atm tho
Testified all the shiny gearbox parts and measured the length of the bolts that I need to order. Also fitted the shifter box. Really tight and had to trim a mm of the sides becouse it would fit so.
well the shifter box has different mounting point. 2 lower ones fitted the original holes but had to drill a bit bigger and the upper ones had to mesure and drill out. took me half an hour becouse mesured like 10 times.. didnt want to make a mistake there.
