There is a straight looking early ABY Green Coupe on Autotrader at the moment with less than £100k on the clock. Looks very nice, except for the chav wheels.

So if it comes with the original Avus rims, sell the chav wheels and use the money to buy carbon trim, stock airbox, steering wheel badge and 6-speed gear knob

No aircon or cruise but good looking base car.

          Cheers n

3B running coilpacks and AAN ecu is more or less okay...
Distributor ignition is just horrible. AAN engine management is also miles ahead of 3B and it is easier to troubleshoot faults.

Seriously..dont like something as small as that put you off a 15 yr old car,Im sure theres a LOT of clean S2's out there with air-con not blowing as it should. Same goes for mileage within reason..

could be as simple as needing a regas or could be compressor and pipework but believe me, if you're determined to get it going again it can be done...

                            My S2

Don't let the milage put you off, the car pulls really well and been looked after.

There are niggles such like the aircon that need attention, but as Johnny and others have stated, it's a really nice example and I've loved owining it. And as Johnny also states, it has the trick bits that you'll probably find yoruself wanting to buy, should you purchase a standard one.

Come and see it and have a ride if you can get over, I'm just off Junction 28, price can be negotiated once you've taken a look, I've currently got it up at £4995 on Pistonheads.

PM me or give me a call 07966629799.
                            Cheers

Bought mine with non-functioning air-con, it was just a split pipe; simple and cheap. Also I've had a 3 yr old car with the air-con fail, at 15yrs old its probably pretty common. Price you pay for owning a cult classic

I'd buy an S2 with £100k on the clock, would it used notes in a brown envelope?
