1. It is possible to tune the stock ECU remotely using my datalogging, I just don't do it. I don't need support nightmares. Also the result is not optimal, correct tuning needs to be done on the dyno.
2. What 1/4 mile time something runs shows nothing about tuning ability. Drag car tuning is the easiest thing you can do since everything but WOT and launch is irrelevant. Also from a proper drag racing perspective 8.6 is very slow. But then you don't do proper drag racing on old audis.
These days if I need to tune 2.2T, I do it on standalone. Simply easier to get support later for the customer.
Not unless I'm out of work locally and remotely, and that doesn't happen often... at all?
