That is all that is available in off the shelve Porcshe filament for 330mm. 39.5 offset
It sounds like you need to use the 965 322mm discs with the gt3 callipers if you do not want spacers
It looks like when I fit my discs, I will use the 45mm hats off the RS2 Discs with the 330mm rotors from my gt3 setup
As I cannot locate the correct calliper adaptor to use with the gt3 hats as Jamo did And do not want to go to the expense off getting them madeRS 2 580HPComment

Yeah starting to look like that. Will search a bit more if i can find different offsets on the 330mm discs first tho.
What do you mean by "hat"?
If I find a 330mm disc that fit without having to use spacers I will get someone to machine me some adapters and prolly make a few while I'm first at it. Just need to get my calipers and do some measuring before I see how much space I got to play with.Comment

I have all these discs and callipers in my workshop and have looked in to it a lot Standard wheels you need spacers to use the 330mm of the shelve discs unless you do what I am
I will be running my RS2 bells with the 330mm rotors from the 996 with VRS calliper adaptors as I cannot find the correct adaptors for the bells and rotorsRS 2 580HPComment

There is at least one company that uses the 330X34 Porsche disc as a basis for their 2 piece disc conversions which suggests there is enough material on them to machine them to take a bell/hat. Not exactly a bolt on and unless you can get cheap replacements to machine, means thats going to get expensive.
If you look at Toms (Saltinot's) thread it looks like that Porsche used another one piece disc to produce the bell/hat by machining off the actual rotor, and hey presto a bell! The irony is it looks like this was the 322mm one piece disc! That sort of makes sense as they mated it to the 993 rotor so the dimensions would have been similar. It also explains why the bells appear to be the same material as the actual disc.
I'll see if I can find the pics so you ca see what I am talking about. Again this is just a theory but it fits in with Porsche's part bin modification process on what was a limited production run.Comment

Read from 965 on!
As Jade has the discs/bells he might be able to confirm whether its possible. You would still need to make either the bells or machine the discs that the bells were made from. Starts to get expensive for a marginal increase in brake performance over an upgrade to say the 322mm one piece and GT3 calipers. However the cost to benefit ratio is a decision for you!Comment

Is it hard to source those RS2 bells? Did you try this setup so you know that it fit under stock wheels?

I would think they are hard to obtain!
Not even sure why Porsche bothered to do the 2 piece disc other than the fact they had the holes! Especially if they machined down the one piece disc which would have worked just as well. Marketing I guess!
If you were going to go to all that trouble you might as well go to the maximum those calipers can handle and use the 350mm discs. It would also be advisable to make them fully floating rather than fixed as per the factory. Obviously you would need to change the wheels to accomodate the increase in diameter.Comment

Would be if there was someone that had a few discs lying around in the garage. Made a thread on a Norwegian forum, if I can't source it there 322 sounds like the only option as it would become to expensive to have to buy 8x new rims and rubber upon new discsI would think they are hard to obtain!

If you have the 2 piece 322 RS2 discs then disc replacement is easy as the actual rotor is the same as the 993TT. However you cannot use the 993TT hat on the RS2! So again its an expensive replacement and may as you have suggested lead to people choosing a more cost effective replacement.
There is the understandable constraint of the stock wheels!
Whether the RS2 hat can be mated to the 996T disc has yet to be determined. I have a feeling it might not work as the 993 rotor has in effect a larger annulus for the hat to bolt on where the 996T disc has a recess. So unless the RS hat just happens to fit inside that recess and there is enough material to bolt through and its by chance puts the disc into the correct position to fit the calipers without spacers is a big ask. The company that uses those disc as part of their conversion use their own bells.
Perhaps Jade can put up some pics/dimensions to see if it can be done.Comment

Getting that 2 piece 322 RS2 hat would only be a option if I could source a pair of used discs that are worn out and I can get them cheap. I just made that buying thread in he Norwegian forum to see if anyone had them lying around while I wait for more spec's on those adapters. I requested measurements of it yesterday to do some measuring of what offset they are made for. If they are made to be used with the discs with 40mm hat/bell I can't use those anyways as it would prolly hit the inside of the rim even if i used 322mm discs. If you have the 2 piece 322 RS2 discs then disc replacement is easy as the actual rotor is the same as the 993TT. If you ignore the application this does imply that its possible to modify the 996T disc to take a hat BUT that assumes the hat has the correct dimensions.
The only cost effective discs are aftermarket ones and there is no guarantee that they are made to the Porsche specification other than being the same dimensions.Comment

The 996 rotors from porcshe are a straight swap, Same bells sizes as the RS 2 with exception of the offset
I will post a picRS 2 580HPComment
