I caught up with the technical chap from UltraLED's earlier this morning. He's of the opinion that the very best LED option for our cars (and any other for that matter) is the following: They only came on the market in late Feb '07. I'm going to order a pair and will let you know if they're as good as they say...

These bulb will fit in most standard 501 sidelight / dash board applications

We offer one year warranty on this product –(as far as we know we are the only company to offer any warranty on led bulbs) As long as the product has not got damp / damaged or placed closer then 8cm to a hot headlight bulb or H bulb.

If you think that the xenon 6 super bright leds are really bright, then this are the super bright leds, they match my oem xenon perfectly and looks BRIGHT.

Review:
If you thought the cluster of 6 LED's or the 1 Watt LED was bright then you will be blown away by how bright this is! Turn this LED on and it's like 5 times the brightness. During the day it's hard to notice they are on. At night they are super bright and lights up the reflector unit well because there are 4 side mounted LED's. Worth the extra money if you want to be seen. Fit's into the Smart forTwo 501 hole ok, but make sure the bulb is secure into the holder as it's not a perfect fit and could pop out (same issue as other plastic LED bulbs).

That's the price for one LED less VAT and delivery....

Total is £13.47 delivered for a pair.

PAH! you try and claim on that warranty and you'll get a snotty reply from their support people telling you to BOG OFF...BTDT

They seem to be good with their returns though.. I too ordered side lights that didn't fit and got an RMA no very quickly - they even suggest that they will credit back the postage. Will be delighted if they do that... (bet they don't though)

Have not had a need for any warranty claims so can't comment there.

Have you fitted yours yet mate? What do you think of them?
I bought some too and received/fitted them today.
Obviously not dark yet, but first impressions are very good .
Will try and get some shots tonight when it's dark.

Havn't fitted them yet.... Am off to meet Corey on Friday so will got them fitted then, hopefully along with an HID set from China (just £50 for the HID's!!)
