Well I hooked 'em up to 12v and hey presto we have light.
Took them back to the car, still not working
Decided to try them on the drivers side ( I'd only been trying them on the passengers side 'cause its easier to access) Suddenly we have light...
On closer inspection of the passenger side bulb-holder one of the metal connections that hold the bulb in place was bent slighlty out of shape. It was still holding the bulb or LED in place but not making a connection when the LED was in place.
Should have investigated further when I first tried the LED's instead of just chucking my toys everywhere
Anyway if anybody is looking for me I'll be outside picking my toys up and returning them to the pram... at least if it gets dark before I finish I will be able to see what I am doing with my working LED sidelights which are a great match for the (Vagparts) HID's.
