Even with the ecu unplugged I’m still getting the injectors open.

Is there a relay for the ecu other then the fuel pump one.

There is a relay that makes the X rail live, but I don't think the ECU is fed off the X rail as that goes dead on cranking. I had issues with it on an old 90 I ended up just shorting it out

Ok it’s just nothing is making sense at all. It’s like the injectors are open all the time that’s what really doesn’t make sense

So dumping loads of fuel into the cylinders all the time, on ignition switch in position 2 and 3 (cranking)?

Possible but that’s a new has before I wasn’t getting any fuel or spark but still not getting a spark

Don't forget the ecu switches the injector earth...

May be I’m doing it wrong but with the ecu unplugged there is still 12vs on both sides of the injector plug

I will say though things are getting hot like the ecu Is getting hot when the ignition is turned on. Not red hot but hotter than what I think it should be

Yes, that's what I mean. The ECU switches the injectors earth circuit, not feed

Ok well I’ll just double check that but if that’s ok I’m back to square one

Did you check the distributor hall sender?

Yes all wires checked and hall sender replaced. From a known working one. When I do the led test it shows it’s working fine.

That’s normal. The injector won’t open till the ECU grounds one side.
