5mm ID bore is what is most commonly used.

8mm ID bore for WGFV pipes

actually just did this a few hours ago.I bought myself the 4mm samco hose.It fits everything and actually in some cases the 3mm hose also was needed, but the 4mm also fitted fine.

the wgfv i think uses 8mm hose.i didnt get that.

can someone verify that the WGFV hoses that go to the turbo cold side and the wastegate are indeed 8mm??

It is and it should be a reinforced hose.

I used 4mm Samco for just about all the vac hoses, I might have used a lttle bit of 3mm somewhere I think.. 8mm reinforced for the WGFV.

Be very careful with the routing of the silicon vac hose, if it rubs on an edge it goes through in no time at all.

Well i think that you can use the straight hose as well. It just that you should not get the vacuum hose in 8mm since this has a smaller wall size.
