forge 007 - recommended by forum.

had no issues at all in 3yrs.
recirc type and sounds ok with a cone too...if you're gentle off the throttle it's a subtle wooosh.

If I was changing it would be a Tial unit.

Proven on many other engines to work very well

          Hi again guys.
Have changed my BOV some months ago now to a turbosmart plumb back, and have to say, WHAT A CHANGE
Boost is much more precise, easyer on boost, and holds the boost as it should be now, best 80£ ive ever spent.
I used a forge one before, and this was really **** tho

                  Hello friends!
I probe some DVs: the original, the TT´s (less than 1 year and it brake ), Turbosmat Dual Port and the last, the Forge´s 007.

Turbosmart´s Dual Port sounds highly. All the time was on blow off. I put it on strongest mode and it was every time on blow off mode. It was too weak
I put one washer to make stronger the spring but...all the time was off except when I drive so slowly and softly.

Only the Forge´s 007 was ok but today I put off the valve and now the turbo charge ok
It is broken and I don´t know who make.
Buy new rubber rings or buy other DV or blow off valve.

I read on somewhere that the Blow off valves are bads for our cars, it´s true?

                  Help sended.

Not sure how you manged to get the turbosmart valve to be to week. If fully wound in they dont open at all unless your dumping over .6 bar on the gauge.

Maybe yours needed a service if it was leaking?

Installed an APR R1 around 4 months ago and all is well on my homefried ABY.
Diaphram based so no piston to stick or have to service Seemed the closest one to oem part but made with high quality materials, fit and finish spot on

There's a link to it further back in this thread somewhere-should have looked which post beforehand

                        I don´t understand U correctly.
But not. Unless than 0,6 bar the Dual port was working on off mode. It was impossible to make work like blow on with 0,5 bar
                        Mine was like that

I have built a lot of setups without a dv

But for streetcar and especially stock environment there is only one choice, if original is count out, and that is APR R1.
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

Had a Baileys recirc and got rid of it as it split from heat, had a Cullins piston one via sfs and got rid of it as it stuck open in the winter months. So now run the 710N dumped to atmosphere and works a treat.
