    Alex, as far as I can tell, there are types 6 listed, 3 for those above without A/C and three for those with. If you think this is a minefield, wait untill you look at drive shafts and suspension.

    Aha! it actually depends on the chassis number, the 3 basic types are available upto 1991, after that they change to 2 types for non A/C and 2 for A/C.

        I take it the difference in mounts for A/C compared to non A/C would just be some change in the rubber density to allow for more or less weight? I didn't think it would be that much that the engine mounts would need to differ. mental.
        i'll have to get the missus to make slightly thicker porridge if this car has A/C then

          Apparently there is a slight difference in the mounting points between an S2 3B and an S2 ABY. One has the mounting holes at 12 and 6 o'clock and the other type is at say 1 and 5 o'clock.

          Please correct me if I've advised you incorrect when you receive them. Sorry can't answer what you asked re the nut.

          I found their front snubber very good if a little hard to get the red bush into the holder?

          Kind regards.

              I'm glad I went the whole way and fitted the motorsport mounts, I really like them. Although I think that these new ones might be better for someone wanting a slightly less harsh ride.

                          Info in the OFM points to looking at the AAN for guide to removing and installing engine and torque settings. I then looked that up in elsawin (sorry, not sure if I should've used the official software name, can't think of what else to call it)

                              In the OFM paper manual (or PDF's) it gives this below when looking for info on removing and installing the engine.

                              Which gives this below;

                              2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.
                              2004 A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Sport-LE.
