im short any plug will work, you have 3 choices............. fit a cheap plug and risk engine damage..... find a seller of the correct plug at sensible money...... just buy the plugs from the dealer, fit them and forget about it.

          yo

i dont have to duck under doors either. and we fit in a gt40, maybe

ive tried a few plugs now and as tom has stated many times the best alrounder is the stock item.

ive used cheaper ones bkr7e. they work fine too, bit weak maybe on high boost.

i used denso irids. good on wot a bit poor on normal driving.

2 bar on stock plugs is just a good as cruise on stock plugs i found.

one thing dont try to gap them. if the spark is weak then look to the coils

Just fit NGK BCPR7ES (or 8´s).

            They´r cheap, under $5 each.

They does the job for atleast 3bar of boost and theres lots of people running over 1000whp with them.

Those iririum plugs and such belongs in the trashcan.

              Ngk Bkr7eix

I'm interested in anyone's update on this. Bosch F5DP0R are the recommended plugs, PFR7B being NGK's Platinum alternative (£6.30 each) that some of us, including me, have tried but not had much luck with.

NGK list BKR7EIX as their "upgrade" plug which are iridium and are £4.50 each against £8 each for the Bosch. False economy or worth a try?

Depends on the power bracket you are running but I've used BKR8EIX's and 9's in the past with good results.

^^^^^ so long they are not Denso's. I've seen more molten heads than you can shake a stick at with Denso's fitted.

                      Hi.
                      A little up HAHAHAHAHA.

Who are the compatible spark for our original Bosch's F5DPOR?
I try with a FR5dp kit but I'm not very happy.

                      I've RS2 stage3 from PRJ

does anyone know if the issues with the stock item quality control is still a problem or was it limited to a batch or specific build period?

I'm sure others will know the answer to that question, but on the face of it if Bosch were prepared to sell out to china and dumb down quality they deserve to loose market share.

Going to replace my plugs tomorrow with BKR7EIX- seems they are a good alternative although not much reference to stock motors . I have been scared off using the F5DPOR due to apparent quality issues and would rather not use them.

Stock engine at the moment. Would 0.6mm gap work well? Or better to leave them untouched?
