On the other hand 360hp from g-tech is not 430hp crank,but anyway Torgue again is measured without losses
2871R goes rather nicely...

Well I just did the nominal 15% drivetrain losses on that 367bhp to arrive at ~430bhp. For crappy 95RON fuel I think the result is pretty good at the wheels ...
With more time and emptier roads I'm sure we could get some better power runs in 4th.
We'll maybe get a dyno day setup over here soon and then we'll see what its doing on the rollers.Paul Nugent

There is still hope for Project: 400 then :mischeif:
Paul, will this be an off-the-shelf fry-up when it's done or will you require live mapping for more GT3071R setups? I appreciate with this level of customisation different exhaust, IC setups etc could be an issue on a generic chip!AUDI - saving Dad's from minivans since 1994

Good questions Espen... I'd appreciate your thoughts on guestimating flywheel power on this puppy. The weight is correct from commercial weighbridge.
Air Temp was about 5 celsius
Elevation is as good as sea-level as makes no difference
Ambient pressure was 1012mbar

I'm hopeful of making this and a 3071 setup sufficiently generic, but the only way to know that things are healthy is with an AFR (WB-O2) gauge...There is still hope for Project: 400 then :mischeif:

yes sure.
it is just an update i made late last night using info from both Andys and my friends excel.I will post it when i get back from work this afternoon
it is not easy from the pdf to get the data.
does the g-tech has an export function to excel or something?Comment

I've just been doing it from scratch. I could come up with something that you put the data in a ceratin format into and then it gives you the graph. The main problem with all of this is that the acceleration data is all over the place and so needs to be averaged over about 0.8 to 1s and even then you have to manually address some of the data points. Strange really as the speed data is lovely and smooth. The trick is to be able to manipulate the data from raw to useable in one go.
I'll come up with something that takes the speed in m/s and data such as
Logging frequency = 1Hz, 5Hz, 10Hz
Drivetrain losses = fly = 1.35 wheels @ 7000rpm
Gear speed = 2nd = 65 @ 7400rpm, 3rd = 95 @7400rpm
Weight, Coupe + 1 person = 1650-1700kg
Cd = 0.32
A = 2m^2
Rho, air = 1.25kg/m^3
and calculates the power curve.
The acceleration data will be plotted so you just manipulate the graph to clear any hot spots.Cheers'en, AndyC

Paul, if you've got a .csv output from the GTech then I'd be interested to have a look and see what the acceleration data is like compared to the mess that the GPS systems chuck out. They're fine for say a 1Hz calculation of acceleration but for real time 5Hz/10Hz they're bloomin' awful.Cheers'en, AndyC

As Barak Obama would say - yes we can
CSV dump of that run direct from Gtech software. Cool or what ?
Be really interested to see how you & Andy's calcs crunch that data...Attached FilesPaul Nugent
