yesterday I purchased "stevieyid's" S2 coupe, and im aware its been having problems not boosting as it should be, im sure some of you are aware of the problem/s its been having.
To be honest im pretty chuffed with the performance, and in 1st and 2nd it seems to feel ok, but 3rd - 6th theres some hessitation/flat spots and it doesnt seem to be boosting much pressure (1 bar ish in 3rd-6th ) also something i think may be v.important when the boost guage is showing anything less than 0 (so negative pressure/vacume) theres a very noticable hissing sound thats there all the time, whilst just idling or cruising below 0 bar (vacume) the noise is coming from the inside of the car behind the glove box (ecu area.
Spec of the car is as follows
RS2 Turbo, EM, IC, Injectors, RS2 Homefry (Mr Nugent please comfirm the spec of these) 3 Bar Map sensor
Anyone any ideas what this could be?

We reconnected the correct line to the ecu and the car started to drive properly but seemed low on boost, we never did have time to do a proper boost leak test, there is definitely a leak or two IMHO. The car does not boost as it should IMO for a RS2 Homefry.. Also the vac pipe which should connect to the aircon valve was too short and could not be connected so I plugged it with something, sounds like this is now unplugged and you can hear it every time you come off the throttle. There's a one way valve on this line so you wont get a boost leak from it.
Steve changed the gauge twice thinking it wasn't working.
If you want to do a boost pressure test round here sometime I was always going to do this for Steve and the offer is still open.
