    buffled sumps?

    or drive only straight

btw, thats not my problem since my tiny turbo stops making power decently by 7500rpm

Drive only straight doesn't help either. When you got enough power, oil pressure drops even in a straight line

Hopefully I can prove my point with my build this year!
I agree with you, maybe i should have written most i5 make peak power around 7800, of course if you Can make it flow more at higher rpm it Will peak higher in rpm, but i dont think its easy or necessery to rev past 8500, you will still make good power the Big downside to rev high is that wear increases 1:4 to rpm, rev another 1000 and wear increases by 4, why Do you need to rev so high? You can still get 1000hp without revving to 11k rpm, wider powerband?

I would prefer to keep the revs as low as possible to help with engine wear. Once the power starts to drop i dont see the point in reving it any further?

There is the question - in my project the power just starting to grow from 4800 rpm up and We need to stop because red line is 7400-7500. But the turbo can more - maybe 600-700 rpm more. I am with large degrees valves but no stoker engine - If You dont got displacement you need high rpm.
So You got better/longer usable range - not from 5000 to 7400 (just 2400 rpm and they ended very very quickly). If I can use range from 5000 to 8000 rpm will be better.
Just the shifting will be hard or even not possible with synchronized stock g.box I think....but hope that situation to be valid just for 1st to 2nd gear shifting......

I have a stroker, soft cut over 8000rpm, hardcut 8800, but i have logs with 8900rpm, i alsoo rev so much because of first 2 gear not so good ratio. I also use for safety an accusump. Till now no failures and i have a few passes on 400m. Best is drysump, then i heard some rumours about s1 oil pump, then accusump. Also dont know exactly how much is diiferent the 16v kr oiling sistem compared to aan/aby but 16v vampire has a revlimit of 9500 rpm and no drysump. Drysump is the best, but for the same money you canget a better.gearbox, and you dont need to.rev so high.

I use the one with electronic vale, it is good for pre oiling the entire system before starting the engine. If the pressure drops bellow a certain value, the accusump compensate.
