yes leave it permanently open. I never had problems with this.

can you tell me if the part number is the correct before i order it? because on the I5 the thread is M26x15 and the fumoto equivalent to that is the one i mentioned above,
but the store gives a different thread for the audi rs2!!!!

Be careful using Fumoto valves as a return, they can break ask S2avant on this one

wich one did you use? the one with internal thread or the hose adapter on it? The one i use with the hose adapter had by the look of it enough flesh in it to hold the hose and not break. 4 years of service proved that it worked...

I had on mine a M26 to -12An fitting which when to tank return

Well the thread is 20 thick so with a 90 bend and a flexing hose from the catch tank, why should I break?

I have just been told that the AAT engine comes with a dyno plug that has an adaptor for a return hose. I don't have etka at work. Anyone has a part number, or can confirm?

Yes it does, I posted a thread about it a while back but the sump plug is a different size to the S2

I did a thread about plug returns ( cant be bothered to search ) upshot I have a return pipe that fits in the sump, I'll find it and put it up for sale
