AAN Vs ABY ECUs?

Thank you! Reading back just what you guys wrote on this page: If ABY ecu will have an AAN stgae 1 chip, the after run pump wont work, right?Thank you again!

That is because the MFTS and the ECU have ZERO NADA NIET NOTHING to do with the after-run pump system. All mechanical switch and 324 control model (yes it looks like a relay but yes it is all PCB and solid state devices).

Can anyone confirm the part numbers for ABY ECUs with & without the immobiliser?

Am I correct I thinking that:

895 907 551 A is the earlier ABY ECU without immobiliser
895 907 551 B is the later ABY ECU with immobiliser

I asked my friend Kate, the friendly Audi parts girl (she's working Sundays this week ) and she said its hard to tell now because neither of those parts are in the system now

895907551A became 895907551X in 2002 and 895907551B became 895907551AX in 2002 and now neither the 551X or 551AX are in the system.
