some more progress with engine today..

getting ready for belt/pump. lined up both cam and crank and flywheel seems to be a "little" out. new belt will fix! forgot to take pic of mark h mod.

also is belt stretch common at all with 3b's as the backside of belt seems to have ripples, the low spots between the teeth of the belt. never seen this before, even on knackerd commercial's !!

You can't rely on the crankshaft marks at the front pulley, you have to do it by the zero mark on the flywheel, visible through the window in the bell housing

must make a tool for holding pulley now.. then ill order belt kit/pump . thought bumber would be a pain to get off, they usually are on most things.

Pretty sure that's the wrong rotor arm. Ramp on butterfly is to soften the initial throttle opening, so you don't kangaroo up the road when trying to pull away.

The web in the window should bisect the zero mark.

Cheers Newsh, yeah the rotor is out by a long way
was wondering about the ramp, came to a theory that its there to stop the breather vap/oil being spread between all cylinders, as the back two run hotter/further from w/pump. but yours makes sense. thank you.

have manifold back on and running but i cant remember/find a hose that goes on to the t piece of rubber at back of head. below the three small vacum nipple's there is a larger one, i have no pipe for here. also below on the t piece like i said there is a provision for a pipe pointing slightly up and to the passenger side.. cant figure it out.. lol

Not sure what exactly you are talking about but assuming it is the PCV system, this info might help:

Yes the larger one below the three small ones goes to the rubber T via a strange little rubber U shaped pipe and the one way valve, the carbon can valve plugs into this too.

cheers lads, i think ive got it, will look when rain stops. 99% i have the pipe that green carbon canister valve connects to turned wrong way. then i will have the pipe to go to bung on mani and the green canister valve has reach to plug to outlet on the other side of it..
