The 035919369L was dropped on Aug. 31, 1992 in favour of a 046919369, i.e. 20 years ago. In turn the, 046919369 was dropped on Dec. 31, 1993 in favour of the three pin 034919369C. This is the part number you want to use.

Like the Thermal Switch that activates the After-run pump?

            Hello
Up this thread because i ve ordered the 3 pins one for my 3b
But after installed it my water temp goes over the normal temp without starting the fan on ...
Is there a trick to check the new sensor ?
I ve put back the old 4 pins one and it's back to normal operation
            :what:

Fan runs from the otter switch in the bottom of the radiator, not from MFTS.

MFTS has several jobs according to the book..
Reduce boost pressure when temp is over 119degC
              Coolant temp indication.
              Engine temp warning
              Climate control.

Ah, just read again, so what you're saying is the temp gauge is over-reading?

Maybe an intermittent short in the wiring plug?

Yes over the 2 lines after 90° with the new one and no fan

If its a miele made one, they seems to be a general concensus that they over-read massively.Had this problem myself, swapped back to a behr one and normal temp reading.

More than likely not bled the system properly, or you have a small leak - maybe the cap.

Need one of these too, was the cause of my boost issues… Where's the best place to get a new Behr one then?

                          Cheers
