Yes Sal, it did 347hp on the dyno and that was as far as we could take it with the injectors running at nearly 100%.

Out of interest, what is an RS2 turbo actually capable of bhp/nm wise? Always thought that realisticly an RS2 turbo could make maybe 360bhp/around 500nm?

About 375/590, but not on stock (RS2) injectors.

RS2 injectors are not even big enough for a standard RS2 turbo, never mind a hybrid.
They are 360cc and the max they can do is 1.8 taper 1.35 on boost.
A standard RS2 turbo can run 1.8 taper 1.45 and a hybrid can run 1.8 taper 1.6..

RS2 hotside does not flow 400hp without either massively lowered CR or chemical octane boosting/charge air cooling

So it would be worth fitting 440s for a live map.

Live map was also to optimise everything to this setup, should be able to get a bit more than a generic chip.

Buying Albert's turbo and selling the RS2 would not cost any money if getting a live map and would apparently get 450bhp+

It is not good to run over 80% duty cycle on injectors. Get 550 cc @ 3 bar to be on safe side. You can boost the press to 4 bar if you would need more. Use Bosh 040 fuel pump form old Audi k jetronic to pump the fuel.

I can make a bet that it is more responsive than the RS2 turbo. This is why I did not get it my self. It has much older compressor wheel in technology aspect.

Yes running RS2 injectors maxed to 99.8 duty cycle.
I have a set of 1000cc EV injectors to fit and water meth to be used only as a safety.
Will be getting round to getting it sorted and mapped in the new year.

What's your power target for the RS2 billet with the 1000cc injectors?

Hank has had a few vehicles do between 400 to 420 on pump gas.
