Yes, "certified LPG installers" usually have no idea what they are doing besides just fitting the physical stuff.
And even then, sometimes the physical fitting is shockingly bad.
Trying to buy as much as I can before fitting the LPG. So what connectors do people suggest to use when connecting to Petrol Injectors? I'd like to do least amount of damage to the existing wiring.

I guess nothing beats soldering. Looking at wiring diagram, I cut the wire at petrol injector, and connect the lpg ecu output? So essentially signal goes through LPG ecu before reaching petrol injector?

Correct. Lpg ecu gets its input from the petrol injector. Then when running on petrol the Lpg ecu petrol output fires the petrol injector. On gas the Lpg ecu gas ouput fires the gas injector. This is replicated for each cylinder.
Hi,
Mine isn't off the shelf kit, I've purchased KME Gold reducer with 6 magic jet injectors, and KME Diego G3 ECU, this setup is good for around 350HP. Everything else is down to car (i.e. tank and piping)

Thanks Des, I think soldering, and wires is the part I am not looking forward to
BTW, it is OK to have filling point in the car, right?
Ohh don't like the idea of that. I have my filler on the tow bar so it just looks like a electric socket. When you connect and disconnect the filler nozzle you get a short hiss as a small amount of liquid gas escapes. You don't want that in a car.

Ah fair enough. I just don't like an idea of it being visible. How hard is it to connect the filler, as I could just have hose I take out of the boot and connect it?

It wouldn't pass the Lpg inspection for your insurance like that. You could make a bracket that looked like a removable tow bar extension and fit it to that.
