I don't know what hydro locking is, so I'd expect I don't have it

I haven't tried starting it now, but if there is fuel in the cylinder it would "stall" the engine?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Dad is sending me a replacement.

Would that cause car not to start though?

Spark is there, but 2nd cylinder is full of fuel.

Hate to say it but I think you should check the timing again. At the flywheel, make sure iut hasn't moved.

Could you have a loose chip in the ecu or the ecu connector not seated properly?

Have you had the plugs out on the cam cover? see if it's sparking?
I started car in the morning it started and stalled straight away, then I tried starting again and revved it, and it came to life, and then blue smoke was coming out of exhaust, I left it to tick over for a while and it was all fine.

Then I was going home and it was all good, when I felt that car looses power slightly every now and then, and then felt that some cylinders were not working, 2 by the feel of it, and smoke was pouring out then. After I stopped car was running on 3, then I turned it off and couldn't start back up again.

I will check the spark in a minute.

Wiring is good, and all the earth cables are attached and connections cleaned.

What could cause the blue smoke coming from the exhaust, looked like someone was pouring oil in the exhaust. Oil level hasn't dropped.

It's not the fuel pump after all, sparkplugs are all wet so it isn't getting spark, I got TFSI coils. Can't connect laptop as it says Port Status OK interface not found

Cos it might have bits from broken pump?

Also, I had a massive cloud of blue smoke behind me when it wasn't running on all 5?
