The cam timing is of only with camshaft of rs2 and the cam gear.. If only the pump is from rs2 you don't have to change any timing marks

So the rs2 belt is not required for the rs2.

I have all rs2 equipment though, cam gear, pump, cams adu. If I use 151 tooth belt where would the marks have to go?

Marks will not move as the length of belt from crank, over water pump and to cam sprocket is fixed.

The 1/2 tooth error explains why the hall sender window was moved IMO.

I think the RS2 ADU hall sender window was moved because Porsche retarded the intake cam setting 10 degrees while needing to maintain the original ignition timing.

Comparison of AAN/ABY 034109105 cam sprocket window location (left) and ADU 034109105B cam sprocket window (right) (Line is drawn from the timing mark through the center of the sprocket to the other side):

10 degrees is 0.027 of 360 degrees. 0.027 of 52 teeth is 1.444 teeth. This might explain the "half" tooth.

As long as you can get the belt tensioned correctly you can use either belt. The number of teeth cannot and will not in any way affect the cam timing.

I thought this too, can't get my head around the change in cam timing.

I'm pretty sure I've used all 3 belts on my stroker, I just extended the slots on the 3B water pump so they'd tension up OK

Yeah, it's the number of teeth between the crank sprocket and the cam sprocket on the side opposite the tensioner that sets the timing. It would be a pretty stupid design if cam timing was affected by belt tension..

As said the smaller diameter RS2 water pump pulley does shorten the distance between the sprockets by the 1/2 tooth that is well documented
                                The belt itself is irrelevant
