    Good work

Those bottom bolts are a bit of a pain to undo. That's weird that the injectors are different, both my standard mani and billet one had the injectors in the same place.

    Good luck with the welding

hi guys, finaly i started on the intake
first i removed the front, afterwords the intake (hell of a job, especially the lower bolts)
did a testfit with the billit intake foot and there was my first problem
the holes from the injectors on the AAN intake where not placed in the middle and on my billit one they are in the middle.
i bolt the foot on the head and made a smooth transition from intake to the head
afterwords i made the injector gap a little bit wider to the right

Yes alloy tig welding is difficult but plenty practice and you will be good.I'm going to go dual plenum as well I best invest in one in next couple months but will get a friend to weld the flange to runners first all best Michael

Nice bits to start to weld with shaking hands.

    little update
i have almost all the pieces to build my plenum intake
last weekend i have talkt to a guy which has a s1 replica with 20v turbo engine
not big horsepower but a nice car
he told me that he first drove with a AAN intake and afterwords with a s1 replica dual plenum intake and it gives almost no difference on the dyno
the torque was a little bit higher and the peak came a little faster(on lower rpm)

    nice

Does it fit with OEM stearing pump?

Does it fit with OEM radiator?

Does it fit under the bonnet without cutting?

I have found a "golden ratio" between the throttle body area vs split area that shows good results in CFD. The real world results may differ.
I compared it to tt RS dual plenum manifold and sms revo and the numbers come pretty close together. I know the split size of the S1E2 but it is hard to compare because of 2 splits.
For me interesting would be the split size of Škoda WRC or Lehmann 4 cyl intake(Dahlback)

I was playing in CAD with dual plenum manifolds and it tuned out that dual plenums that have tapered 1st plenum perform better in equal air mass distribution to the runners and they show lower gas velocity difference between runners. Big impact can be archived just by lowering or raising velocity stacks in the 2nd plenum or sizing the "split"

Incorrectly sized split or incorrect velocity stack height can lead to very poor performance of the dual plenum manifold.

So now to the Jenvey unit. PKM itself at Facebook wrote that it is the best dual plenum that he had tested. Looking at the design everything looks fine, but JP wrote that it came out as the worst. I can only speak about the virtual results, if the split is sized correctly and velocity stacks are correct height from split centre line it should come out OK.
