I too am a grumpy old man so I'm with Paul - Car bras look fooking rediculous and should be banned - in Blighty at least, the Yanks can knock them selves out

Since this thread was first started, a new phenomenon has come along which I am hoping never gets translated to the car world - the Mankini

Mankini - pass me the bucket - I'm gonna blow chunks
        Car-bra - pass me the tranquillisers - I can't stop laughing
Car bra on S2/RS2 - pass me the forms, he's getting sectioned
Car-mankini - pass me the Colt 45, I'm putting him out of my misery!

        Tears n fears

god I hate these things, so when do you take them off to enjoy the paintwork you've saved? everytime you park up? you probably scratch the bonnet taking them on and off, and does the rain and muck not wash down into the gaps? alot of chavs are using these I've noticed, I hate them

                This.

You're using the car bra to protect the paintwork that is unseen by virtue of being covered by the car bra.

A fair few cars have them up our way, I assume they have them as they are "Cool" or "scene" or something, I just like to laugh, they look completely ridiculous.
