I will try and find it - I think Mark H might have posted a link to it on here a couple of months ago.

        http://www.sls.wau.nl/fstolp/magazin...ver/500bhp.htm

This is the only thing I could find but it only says it has been moved, not giving the lean no1 cylinder reason.

Here is a Suggestion, why didnt you guys make up a plate for a VR6 TB or Mustang TB since your going through all that trouble anyway?

Also found this interesting picture and thought you guys might like. Its a RS2(same as 3B without the Porsche emblem) that they have simple cut and flipped around.
I know you guys will like....

p.s. has anyone heard from Corey?I have been trying to get a hold of him.
          Thanks...

But on the other hand they are using AAN center inlet manifold on their other project

On other hand if there is litle less air and the same amout of fuel there is no reason to worry. AFR will go down a litle bit, EGT down a litle bit ..

and now i'm geting confused. The only explonation is that with motec they have have modyed it a bit ??

Albert: The one showned previously is 2.5L engine , the one on your picture is 2.2L . So I guess they are different , so different manifold.

The CC wont mater ... the head is "the same". the 2.2T version has 600HP and 2.5L has 500HP ... so it would mater more in 2.2T version

Albert - the silver shortened UrQ one was at the GTI International meeting a couple of months ago - It had the throttle body moved to the front - or so I was told - Does anyone have pictures to confirm this?

You are right, the front cylinder one might be a bit richer - not leaner!

can be easily adapted for an S2,dont see a problem with the flipped ADU/3B manifold

I think Mihnea told me about this problem as well - It would be easy to test if you had 5 temperature probes, one in each exhaust runner - you could see if no1 was running lean/hotter.
If there was a flow problem into cylinder number 1 (which I believe there is with the AAN manifold), then wouldn't that cylinder be richer, not leaner, than the rest?

Then again, the RS2 EM is supposed to help a hot condition in the end cylinders, which makes me think of lean not rich. So, I don't know but I'm curious.

thats the second car ive seen with the rs2 manifold chopped about like that, looks very good, 2 stock dv's venting to atmosphere though??
the 3b manifold is different to the ADU btw, slightly smaller volume, ADU and ABY are the same though

Haha, yes the DV's are installed incorrectly,i think they figured that out after....
I was told ADU and 3B were the same (internal volume wise).I am Inexperienced in this field so i guess your probably right.

                                Progress so far

Been working on it most of yesterday and today, and its almost done. I've welded the plate onto the side and the lugs for the throttle cable and the dipstick tube have been welded onto that.
Just a few more things to do to it and it should be done.
I hope it all works OK when it goes on the engine, its been a lot of work, the welds seem to be good and strong, but it'll have to be able to take up to 2 bar + internal pressure and engine vibration........I'll have to keep an eye on it for a while.

                                Cheers,

                                Mark.
