yeah me too, funnily enough now you say it there was a little plastic blank which is where the lever would probably go. But it wasnt there, would rather get ones i can put straight in really though.
How much is one of those seats from audi? got the part no?
when i was there the guy said he had taken them in payment from a mate to put in his polo but couldnt get his cobra subframe to fit. But said they had come from an Evo 7
I'm no expert on this - but couldn't you get a frame that tips the entire seat forward rather than the seat folding forward in the middle? I know that a Land Rover discovery does this. Just a thought.
V nice seats, not so nice price. Plus need some that will sit lower in the car so my head fits in better.
with the flip forward bit I did think about that but there isnt enough clearance on a coupe between top of the seat and the roof so that wasnt really an option.

Hey, worst case I guess you could put one in the drivers side and make people get in the back from the passenger side
Nah make them climb through the hatch back!
seriously though, don't even consider having restricted access to the rear, if you car is down a ditch and the 'opening' seat is the lowest one and someone can't get out, you would never forgive yourself!
It happened a few years ago with someone I knew ( 2 door cortina and a bucket seat on the drivers side only), the car spun into a tree on the passenger side and the rear passengers couldn't get out, one of the 3 rear passengers got out, the other 2 died. I went to the funeral, sobering stuff when you are 17...
