Please accept my apologies that the gauges did not reach you in the condition they were sent. I have PM'd you with options, I hope that they meet with approval.

The gauges were packed in 2 layers of bubble wrap and have reached other purchasers in the condition they were sent. The damage you describe can only have happened after some severely poor treatment in transport, to knock the 0 point on the gauge would require a really solid hit

I will ensure that in future, the gauges are sent out with much more protection than I had deemed necessary this time.

I was heartbroken when you told me what had happened as I knew how disappointed you must have been when they arrived and because I had made those gauges with my own hand for someone to then toss them about like worthless junk Lesson learned, you should see the box that's just gone to Honk Kong, nowt would break that one!

I hope that the partial refund provides some beer or petrol money for you to mull over the events and enjoy your purchase!
