    Petrol leak

I have a petrol leak from the fuel pump access panel

Does anybody know the part number for the rubber seal under the white plastic ring? I've tried looking in ETKA and I can't find it

New seal fitted and it's leaking as bad as ever

Think about it this all seems to have started when I took the carbon canister off. The tank seems to be breathing properly, there is no rush of air when you remove the filler cap so I'm not sure if this is related or not.

Anybody any ideas as to what would cause this?

Does it still happen with the tank half full?

Maybe its not the rubber, might be a crack in the plastic access panel itself?

When you removed the carbon can what did you do with the 3rd metal pipe in the engine bay? Did you vent the tank at the back, into the wheel arch?

You could seal the lines off and pressurize the tank to test Andy?

Yes, the 3rd line is vented into the wheel arch. I'll take the panel off again and check for cracks.

It can also leak up past the terminals in the plug for the fuel pump , but you would know if it was that as the area around the plug fills up with fuel.
