AFAIK all the wishbones have the hole for these droplinks, just not the bushes? So you could use your original wishbones.

Those look similiar to the ones i have, just not sure if they are kinked. I'll have a root around in my "storage yard" and see if i can dig them up.

BTW, having had a think about it, i wouldn't be surprised if these kinked droplinks would work with the pressed front wishbones, meaning you could use the 25mm UR 20v bar, which should equate to more like an RS2 bar in new money

Al, if those droplinks are like these funky kinked ones they should be exactly what i'm after

Yes, not sure if it's the exact same parts but that is the idea. In this setup the levers are approx 2/3 the length so the 22mm arb becomes about as stiff as the 25mm jobbie I've got.

Is this something to do with the way the 10v B3 used funky droplinks that connected to the wishbones? If it is then i might be able to help as i might still have the wishbones and droplinks you need.

Coolio. If you get stuck then at least you know that the B4 bars work a treat with the struts swapped to reverse them...

I might have something to add - from reading up on 20v.org, they suggest using a 4000 Q front anti-roll bar on the rear of the CQ, and using drop links to mount onto the wishbones as the older style set-up worked. Ths is the same type of FARB on the 20v Qauttro that Doug used, i have a 22mm one of these at home ready and waiting, so a little less hardcore than dougs one

The early '90 cars came with just a front sway bar. Later '90 and all '91 came with a bigger front bar and a rear bar, too. Several of the normal performance vendors will add/upgrade both the front and rear bars. The following basic details are for adding a rear bar to the early cars, or beefing up the bar on the later cars. Be aware that adding/changing the rear bar without modifying the front one will change the car's handling characteristics--specifically, it will have more tendency to oversteer.

Adding a 4000 Quattro front sway bar to the rear of a 20V (Ray Tomlinson, Rick Houck)
The rear control arms on the 20v are identical to the front control arms on the 4KQ. Here are the parts required:

Front swaybar - pick one up at a salvage yard, list is over $180
    P/N 857 411 301 D
    Link ends (x2) ~$20 each
    P/N 857 407 469 A
    Washers (x8) ~$1.50 each
    P/N 857 407 477 A
    Lower Sleeve (x2) ~$2.10 each
    P/N 857 407 480
Lower Mount Bushing (x2) ~$2.30 each
    P/N 857 407 474
    Upper Sleeve (x2) ~$2.10 each
    P/N 857 407 479 A
Upper Mount Bushing (x2) ~$2.30 each
    P/N 857 407 473 A
    Nuts (x4) ~$0.70 each
    P/N N 011 18 49
Subframe Mount Bushing (x2) ~$2.60 each
    P/N 811 411 327 B
Now, i'm struggling to match up some of these part numbers, but never the less, it looks like this should work. I need to check a pair of rear wishbones i have at home, to be sure they have the mounting holes in them already needed, 99% sure they do from memory.
I'm planning on giving it a try. I might have an ask on audifans see if anyone has any old knackered drop-links of this type that i can test-fit to see if they work, before investing the £40 odd it'll probably cost to get new bits.
This should be a pretty easy solution to the droplink issues when using the older type CQ FARB on the rear - i'll update as i go

No, I thanked the delivery team and grinned! I need to source soe H'n'Rs now so the 26/26 combo is to counter the understeer from the VA/VA Avant cheepo setup The other option is to get some OE Coupe rear springs on the front and lower it 15mm or so (got 2 sets in the garage).

Having the same tyres front and rear has helped the ahndling balance a lot with teh current 26/25 setup and the car is now a lot better behaved than when it was on dissimilar tyres.

I'll make sure I'm where the 24mm item is when you're up at the end of the month
