This question is kind of related to the how do you improve handling question. It might help some of us understand whats what as it would be beneficial as some of you have probably driven all these cars and have personal experience of what your thought were more comfortable and what was by far better handling. Apologies for the long one!!

Am i wright or wrong your thoughts **VERY MUCH APPRECIATED**
I find the S2 Avant and avants in general to be a better handling cars than the S2 coupe. The coupe is surprisingly comfortable. The 90 20v FWD saloon with the factory sport suspension was i thought a very very good blend of comfort and handling might be the best blend i have experienced from the B3 and B4 cars along with the S2 avant quattro being better. But weight plays a big part in it too the 90 20v being a lighter car.
I have changed all the suspension on a 2.6 B4 avant not my current one but my previous one for new audi parts that's shocks, springs, bump stops, dust shileds, ball joints, drop links every bush inc wishbone bushes rear axle bushes and i found the car handled better for sure and much more comfortable firm yet supple and better insulated from ridges and bumps that these audis are quite bad for noise wise getting into the cab when suspension tired.
I had a FWD J reg 90 20v saloon still do, but shell gone now along with all the bodywork. That car really impressed me with how comfortable it was yet still decent handling. It had cast front wishbones which i suspect are better handling than the pressed ones.Do the cast wishbones make that much difference.I suspect they do but not entirly sure by how much??No harshness coming through into cabin unlike what you get with the Avant on its original supension.
My question is..why the big diferences. Did audi make different stifness bushes. For example would the standard Rs2 bushes be different to the rest of the B4 range?????
Years ago i found that if you can find uprated rubber bushes the improvement is really noticeable.Nowadys eveybody seams to go the polybush route. But is that because its cheaper plus they last longer than OEM but more noisy.Sorry for the long one.
