Can you share it please ? I have same problem with my F&C BBK. It is almost touching ball joint. My solution is to wrap ball joint into adhesive aluminum foil. What is yours?

Depends what brakes you are running. If you have monoblocks, I don't think it'll work. I was thinking of putting a very small spacer behind the disc, and I reckon there is enough space in the standard G60 carrier to allow the disc to sit just a couple of mm further out. I need to take a proper look at it though as I'm not sure if it will work. I think monoblocks are a tighter tolorence though maybe?

Out of interest, are these the same extenders that I have, from PMW? Do they rub on cornering?

Was the foil for heat protection? I didn't even think of that, good idea.

            ****ing snow

Was just trial fitting these today. Nipped out to get some new nuts and bolts and by the time I got back it had already started settling

Good news is it looks like they'll fit with about 2mm clearence. They are an a*se to fit though.

Due to ***** weather i only fitted one side of these today, and they do fit.... just!

When I get everything else sorted i'll go for a drive and see how much they scrape.

Otherwise, my plan of putting a spacer behind the brake disc should work quite well I think. There's room inside the caliper carrier for at least a couple of mm, which should be enough.

Because of the angle the balljoint sits inside the hub, the extenders will probably reduce the static camber a little, maybe past the range of adjustment from the balljoints. So i'm going to buy a couple of those funky hub/strut offset bolt things from 034 and see what i can work out with those.

In a nutshell, all looks good

                  Interesting thread.
                  I have a question/idea though.
Since i have bigger brakes on my car im not sure that i can fit thoose extenders on mine.

So my idea was the following.

If i take a uniball. Weld it onto a plate that fits inside the wishbone. Make 3 holes as to hold it.

Take a bolt run through the uniball but a nut on that side. Then the bolt should be fixed to the uniball.
I then plan on getting another set of hubs and simply drill a more straight hole without the offset seen in the above pictures. Making the hole be more or less stright upp.

Then i planed on threading this hole. i would then be able to adjust how much space i want between uniball and hub just screwing it in and out.

ill show my mad paint skills so i can maybee make it abit clearer.

It would solve the problem with the geometry question is how beefy you would have to make it? Im poundering M22 bolts thoose should take the pounding or what do you think?

I like the idea of some adjustment that could work quite well. Not sure if the bolt will be strong enough though. Will let somebody else answer that.

Only problem I forsee is that the position of the ball joint has other effects too, like the scrub radius or "offset" of the wheel. I think the reason it is angled in the first place is so it stays in line with the original steering axis. If you change that, then you will change the offset of the steering which makes the steering a lot more nervous. That basically means the wheel will grab at potholes and bumps and skirt around on the road. Can be quite unpleasant on everyday roads, but good for track. Depends what you want.

I have gone off the idea of the disc spacers though cos they just won't work as well as i'd hoped! Will just have to fit them and hope they don't scrape the disk

You would also be able to adjust the length of the plate. If you want to send it out some for more camber without using camber bolts.

                        Ok new excellent paint drawings
I feel like a true artist

Ok so here is a little drawing how i had imagined it from above.

                        And from the side.

And as a bearing something like this

Im also poundering if you could make a tube insteed of the 2 nuts in the middle and adjust with the lrngth of the pipe? So it will look something like this.

I know there will be a shearing force on it but the question is how big a bolt u need to cope with it

A picture speaks a thousands words...

It's the position of the balljoint in relation to the hub that matters. Sliding the balljoint in and out of the wishbone to change camber will make no difference. Although, you will need to change this too!

Ahh yes i see your point my thoughts was more on a side note. You Could get som more camber from it but not that much i think. My thoughts is to redrill the hole in the hub? (correct word?) and not do it at an incline that audi have done but to do it more straight if you look at it from the front when wheel is sitting on the ground.

                            Pics here.
My point being that since it is tilted towards the car stock you could get better clearence by straitining the think upp.

                            Stock

                            Modifed

Or am i thinking this wrong?

Doing this would require a new hub if one dont wanna drill in the ones they have atm.

When considering the much straighter angle of this the hub should be in the same tilt as stock but with more clearence to brake discs and such.

Made another drawing think i messed yours upp sorry

What Alex is sayign that its the angle of the hub in relation to the ball joint that your changing, if you imagine the hub turning it will rotate differently if you change the angle of the ball joint connection. easier to think of it in terms of stuff in the house lol, imagine the stock ball joint to hub connection is a spoon, and the new straight one that your designing is a knife, when turning the knife will only turn in 1 axis, the spoon rotates around 1 axis, at an offset, same prinsiple here.

Ahhh now i get it. Then that idea is pretty much out the window cause if one would keep that angel then you would have the same problem as with the extension?
