I had heard, from Vag Parts, that the S2 rear on the Sedan/Avant was so over engineered that they still used it on the RS4, but I assume he meant B5 and like you, I assumed it would be modified slightly...

    Cheers for the help

I'm working on that now - plus visual evidence of B4 and B5 similarity at the rear end... Its quite amazing actually - I knew there was similarity but I didn't expect a clone job.

Paul, could you add the Shockers and track rod to this?

Yeah I think the B4/B5 quattros all use the same setup but part number checks would be good.

@Paul Nugent - I think most the legwork here is getting the bits to powerflex and proving the interest. The guy said they would just add them to the catalogue so a GB would not be compulsory, but we may get a discount if we went that way... A GB may well speed it up though.

As the Sedan and B5s? are the same also, can folk on other forums of interest relay the info to them? Thanks!

As Jamo says, aside from the subframes, Powerflex do most the bushes already and they seemed keen to finish the job.

Does someone have a schematic from the family album I could pass to Powerflex?

Complied this real quick - its 12 bushes in total for the rear of a B4 - not counting diff mounts. See attached PDF for pic and explanation...

Someday I'll do a properly annotated one of these with torque settings etc etc

yep on their website the RS2 / Avant and S4 bushes have the same number IIRC

Power flex are only missing a few bushes ( except the subframe )

From what i can see the parts are common upto 2001 RS4's, plenty of market for them i would have thought.

I'm happy to help on these where I can - but even happier if someone else wants to do the donkey work of securing orders, chasing money, posting boxes etc etc

1st things first - Avant rear = Sedan rear also... This is where the wider B4 quattro interest would come in and actually there may even be some same size bushes that carry over to B5 quattro rear end (1st gen Audi A4) - I'll dig around on the parts system for a quick check.

I for one would be up for a complete set of Powerflex bushes at the rear of a B4 quattro - wishbones top & bottom and uprated diff mounts too.

i have the bracket lying loose if this is intresting,

instead of buying the apikol diff mount for 180$$or what it is...
I am deff (pardon the sort of pun!) interested in that! Would you be able to lend it to Powerflex?

I am offshore right now and cant remember the mountings... If anyone has photos of the mountings, from afar, not real close ups, that would be handy to send to Paul.
