It depends how many want's a set, payments, and how fast the machine shop does the alu-bushings. Hope for 2-3 weeks...

I'm going to try and install my set myself, although I must admit I've never tried anything like this before!

Don't suppose there's a more detailed guide anywhere, showing the best way to do it and what the required torques are?

          Cheers,
          Tom

I dropped the subframe almost completely, only held by the sway bar. Disconnected the starter/alternator cables.

Not a bad job considering i used floor jacks. Took me 1.5hr.

I also dropped the subframe, pressed out the original front bushes and installed the alu ones. Took me around 2 evenings to swap it along with both front bearings. I could have done it faster but i'm kinda slow and pedantic about those things and i wanted to be sure that i had done everything correctly (eg doublecheking everything just to be sure)

On topic: the front suspension is actually more quiet with alu bushes, no exess vibrations appeared. On bumps the front feels more solid and quiet then before also a lot tighter (old rearmost bushes were quite worn also), so i'm really pleased with that. Also rear subframe is mounted on solid alu bushes.

Total list so far. Will made max. 10 sets, min. 5 sets. 120e/kit + postage.

The set includes: 4 aluminium buches(2 for one hole), 2 steel flange buchings(hot zinc coated) and 2 M12x90mm 10.9 bolts.

                  1. eske (audifinns) - 1 kit
                  2. gecko (audifinns) - 1 kit
                  3. ringbearer (S2forum) - 1 kit
                  4. EDIGREG (S2forum) - 1 kit
                  5. FRCFD5 (S2forum) - 1 kit
                  6. A1QSHIP (S2forum) - 1 kit
                  7. Berserker (S2forum) - 1 kit
                  8.
                  9.
                  10.

If I get only 5 sets, then the hot zinc coating can be a trouble, would be needing a bigger bunch of parts, but we see if I can sort it out...

Ok done, thanks! I have to warn you guys in US and Canada, the shipping fees is 40 euros. The kit weight slightly over 2kg's so our post office charge by 5kg. You can check the shipping prices to your country here: http://translate.google.com/translat...natjaohjeet%2F

Those bushings look great! This is what dropping the subframe involves: http://forums.quattroworld.com/a6100/msgs/23640.phtml
