V8 Torsen to CQ question

AYV are the short diff/ ala audi 80/90/s2/4000 style P/N 017 500 043M 4,111 ratio...
the V8 diff are like the audi 100/200/V8/5000/a6 style....

So it seems that I have had my gearbox engineer relace an S2 diff with......an S2 diff?????!!!!!

I'm a bit confused here. I have spoken to the engineer and told him the information above and he is adamant that the diff internals that he put into my S2 casing were Torsen. He said that the S2 internals bore no resemblence. He has rebuilt many torsen diffs and so he says that he knows one when he sees one. Help???

ETKA says 1.9 liters for the V8 rear housing differential.
It's basically the same as per URS6 (so without manual 100% locking) infact the housing it's pretty much the same (or the same as far I can see)

We've done the swap of the V8 torsen last week into an URS6 so datas are fresh...
