Well i've not really posted too much on here for the last couple of years, although i've been lurking in the background almost daily.
I thought it was about time to post my project here now i've made some solid progress.
So,basically i bought the car a couple of years ago unseen with the view to breaking her,it belonged to a friend of a friend and was "definately a 20v"...for 250 quid who was i to argue.
Long story short me and a mate headed up to Darlington with a car trailer only to find it was infact a 10v.******,after all the effort i was'nt about to leave empty handed so took it anyway.
It sat on the drive for a few months collecting dust and bird sh*te until the bug bit me,so a project was born.
The original idea was just to fit a v8,keep it n/a and stock looking and enjoy burbling round in it,but there's not enough fun in that is there?
On a side note i managed to loose quite a few pics unfortunately so there may be a few holes in this ever thickening plot
Tools out,grinder out,everything out.....
For G reg car it's actually one of the best shells i've come across, this was the only real corrosion i came across and had to cut out and replace, but that was easily sorted
So,a good, solid, rust free shell...a good place to start
