                Mighty sweet
17 degrees peak timing at high rpm?
How much timing at peak torque?

                SAE corrected or uncorrected?

                    5krpm 23.5, 5500rpm 18.5, 6k rpm 17.0 degrees. peak torque rpm 6793 rpm, timing 16.5 degrees. 7k rpm 16.0 degrees

probably corrected. says "WCF" on one of the sheets.

still, no matter how you slice it.

615 AWHP and 434 tq, i went 10.05 in the 3rd pass ever.

more whp, more tq, i should hopefully smash the 9 sec barrier the first shot out.

more changes are now steel FW instead of alum FW (help keep the revs up and launches), ID 1600 injectors, it should happen.

                          Nice figures.

We're just about to go back on the dyno with ours after the harmonic dampener and dry sump pulley ripped out the timing belt pulley on lift off. We were very lucky that it only sacrificed 2 rods and a big end regrind. Timing figures are pretty similar at the same boost figures iirc we had 18 degrees in at the top which is normal with non tumble ports and fast burn combustion chamber designs.

Good luck with the elusive 9 for this season

92.8mm stroke, 83mm bore, 144mm rod, 8.5:1 compression. just your basic no-frills stroker motor.

even running a small port head with lots of porting work, and the same solid lifter cam set.

And you could not run more timing on 8.5:1 compression? And why are you running less timing higher up in the rev range? IAT is getting too high?
I am surprised... but perhaps the AAN engine is different.
