OK help me out guys, I was always told my car is "midnight blue".. because at night it looks black/purple but during day it looks blue.. take a look at my avatar

the 1996 s2 is isis-red-metallic
the 1991 s2 is grey pearl metallic (a really nice colour)
and the 1995 s2 is green pearl.
to your discussion of the "violet" hungarian s2, the colour is called in german "Veilchen-blau-metallic. The "Veilchen" is a flower.
The empty color-code is known here, these are cars which are extra-painted on an extra spray-cabin. a friend of mine also had an s2 with these self-written color-code at the bottom of the sticker.

just to add more confusion..........my car is in Indionapillis green. Green normaly but when the sun shines it turns to red/blue/purple.
ive been told that a certain Ferdinand Peitch (spelt right?) was the first owner of my car and that he sent it back to the factory to have his own personal options put on.Comment
