I am adding my comments, at the risk of alienating myself from some forum members.
It is not my intention to upset any forum members and that includes, the proprietor of Alltype Cars. Neither do I want to make enemies, but reason has to prevail.
I do not know if I am missing something here, however, it seems there are underlying issues that some of us are not aware of.
The comments about a person's ability to communicate in precise English, has no bearing on either their ability to work on cars, or to have extensive knowledge of them.
If this individual has ripped someone off, then fair enough and that is where comments should be directed. I have had many good mechanics over the years who were not particularly articulate.
I thought the forum was an open membership and not elitist, to those who know English only.
Come on guys you are bigger than the need to taunt someone, whom by the way is also a forum member.
We all have a choice, if you do not want to purchase from anybody, you do not have to!
Can we get back to the really interesting stuff, like member's cars and projects. The stuff we all come on here for.

It seems to me everyone has voiced their opinions on this subject and that they have highlighted that the internet based communication is the main area they are concerned about. I hope that the member / seller concened can use this feedback to their advantage and improve the service they offer. There does seem to be an undertone of bad feeling here and having watched the thread unfold and indeed seen previous discussions, I must conclude that those members have taken offense to the tone and style of the threads that have been previously written. To the credit of the member concerned, the later posts in this thread seem to be more of a tone that is the norm on this forum and I hope that this continues.

With that in mind, and wanting avoid a Witch hunt here, may I respectfully suggest that the remainder of the thread is left for those who have personally dealt with All Type Cars to voice their factual opinion of the transaction or for those who have a specific enquiry relating to a car that is being sold or that is potentially being bought off them.

I'm not and have not taken sides about this chap... He's done nothing wrong in my eyes when it comes to selling his cars or anything else, they are his to do with as he wants...

BUT this reply just sums up what most of us have been on about... I don't know if he means to come over in such an aggresive manner but that how I read it...

Only thing that i've got to say is I found it hard to guess what some of the words in your ad's should have been due to being shortened down.

Apart from that no problem.

Do you still have the white urq on the trailer with the sport bonnet? and any more pictures of the bronze short sport as i've seen a few pictures in redline magazine of it a while ago but not any really decent ones.

All they do is always talk crap just because I have bought a lot of quattros and S2s, and they can't take it. Like I have said many times before, my motto has always been you get what you pay for. I have got dog and restoration project cars, but then they're priced accordingly. So gents please grow up, you're not in your teens now are you, or are you?

I agree that it's (mostly) not too difficult to convert into something readable, but it would be even easier to view the adverts if I didn't have to and they were written more like this one.

Anyway... to bring this back within Rusty's (fine) request of talking about cars currently listed for sale: given the miles I'm not doing in the S2 at the moment, I am half contemplating changing it for something more classic, so anything extra you (or any of the audience reading this) can tell me about this car would be appreciated. I'm particularly interested in its history, what QST have meddled with on the car (aside from the stainless exhaust already mentioned in the advert) and the registration so I can do an HPI check myself. The price wouldn't hurt either.
