Bumper license infill (to smaller NAmerican/Japanese size), Item 14:

Its the Swiss bumper infill, not NA as it doesn't have the downstand and is linear across the top and bottom. Unlike the NA which has a lower piece.

    :-)

I am am intrigued you say that becauae when inflated to factory setting 40psi they have a very harsh ride.We stay down your way a few times each year so would like to meet up and see your car and witness this limo ride.

Interesting! Will you ever be taking one of your URS6 cars to ADI by any chance as it would be great to see these cars on show.

That was my Nogaro blue S6 in the first post. My brother took loads of photos of the car, some real nice ones. He also took this the same day.

Unfortunately ADI always falls on the week/weekend when I go away to a special place in the Nevada desert!

I will do some of the shows this year though, just let me know where and when.

Seeing all these cars here on this thread makes me realise that I am not a complete crazy man, there are others out there that love the C4 as much.

              Cheers

ok maybe 'quite' like a limo, but 80% better than it was

The fuel flap tyre pressures state 44psi or 50 loaded! cant imagine that! 35psi is good.

if you read the road test in VW/Audi driver there was a comment on the tyre pressures, I think the general feeling was it was better at lower pressures

I hear what your saying and have tried that and it gets more comfortable but the flipside is the handling suffers. the only way you can make the situation slightly better is to make sure you buy quality tyres that are quieter on the road and have a less rigid sidewall at around £800.00 for 4.Thats what they want where i live. 255/40 X 17 is the correct tyre and am told only a handful of older cars run them from factory.virtually all tyre places bar one or two specialists don't stock them.So special order and you get stung for the pleasure.

Have a new set of original Avus 16" 6 spoke wheels original fitment for S2 and S6 with a set of Goodyear F1 GSD3,s the ones they discontinued 3 or 4 years ago. They have only done 1000 miles so will use them (205/55 x 16) on mine untill i get the S6 plus wheels refurbed and some good rubber(more research needed there)Was thinking Goodyear Asymetric 2 tyres but still thinking.Any suggestions for a tyre thats premium but not harsh and has quiet running characteristics....oh and lasts forever

We are not the only ones. The RS2 and S2 guys seam to shower money at their cars judging by what i have seen/read on this forum.Mind boggling really. It generally puts a lot of URS6 owners to shame. It is good thought to see that there are a few who appreciate them and don't want to break them for the AAN Engine as many have ended up that way.
Will contact you about possible shows.Cheers

Cheers, I'll let him know your comments. I sold the car last year, but it hasn't went too far. I tend to build the cars, he takes the pics. ;-)
