I had to use that front bumper to fit the intercooler were it should be, up front. Any other stock bumper car I have seen with a fmic looks very obviously modified. Many non audi guys don't realise my bumper isn't what should be there. But Yea a stock bumper looks best, but I put power ahead of looks...

I'm not sure who make it to be honest. It's a fiberglass thing that came with no brackets or mountings. I butchered a old c4 tdi bumper for its steel part and brackets and fiberglass them onto this skin.

It took a fair bit of finishing in the paint shop but the fit is good now. As I say I prefer the stealth look of a stock bumper, but an intercooler cut into a stock bumper looks more wrong than this in my opinion.

Sounds like a mammoth task to sort that bumper out.Fair play to you! I understand the Power over look thing although for me i like the standard bumper.To my mind it's such a shame that something cannot be sorted so the original bumper can be used and look perfect. Nice car though all the same.

This is why we like our NAmerican 8km/hr bumper damage $$ limit bumpers. My 93 UrS4 sedan has a big Apikol FMIC hiding behind the bumper (and it is is not even noticeable from the front)
