Too true, it looks nicer than mine one was when I got it!

Upside is I am at least saving one from the wreckers!

It's great that your saving yours from the wreckers and go faster strippers.They should all be saved now unless they are just not a viable propersition.As you know i am saving mine too.Just got the P.O.S and the coils complete with harness and will fit tommorow all being well.Fingers crossed.

Trouble is, most aren't a viable propersition compared to the purchase price

Good luck with the coil fitting, are you using OEM coils or the conversion?

I know what you mean about purchase price but if a car is in great shape body wise and the engine and gearbox are fine why not give it extended life.Suspension will need rebuilding for sure and routine maintenace but that's it.


Yes i am using OEM as i want it to look standard and the originals are tried and tested do last 15 years and 200,000 miles so suits me for now.

I replaced the coils this afternoon with complete loom which made it really easy.Thankyou
A1quattro The job took 20 mins taking my time making sure i didn't disturb anything else and re cable tying.Fired first time and very smooth.This is probably the sweetest painfree £50.00 i will ever spend on the car.will take it out for a spin later to see if this has solved my misfire problem.
