    Josh

Someone on here PMd me about going to a company that would make carbon-fibre bumpers but I have lost the mail - Who was it?? I'm sure it was somewhere in the North of England but they need an original to copy - £200 seemed to ring a bell but I can remember to be sure.

Martyn - Is this with a 2.5? You really have caught the bug - this forum has a lot to answer for!

Doug wasn't it fibre lyte who did the bumpers - the link that Josh posted? This was the same company that Tom spoke to about the CF bonnets. :-) You have no idea how bad the bug has bitten ;-) wish I could F/F time a year and get 5 numbers up on the lottery. Got a plan in my head...

It probably was them - just can't remember, but someone had got in contact and asked about it and got a rough price.

I ****** enough people off in my car at Knockhill - I would love to see a 480bhp avant on the track - the porsche/ferrari/lambo drivers would really like that

It was £400 to cast the mould which would be waivered with enough purchases then £400 per spoiler, remember there will be no brackets, lights, grills, etc etc

This thread could go on forever for building bumpers but here is some more options:

First, I actually have that rediculusly $$$$ Rs2 mesh.
Which is just sitting in one of my storage containers!

I opted to go custom, perforated plastic to be honest.

            I got it throught MCmaster:
McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

I got it in a big sheet, and cut it to fit, and then sprayed matt black. Currently the Rs2 rings are on there now too.

Another option which many take for the Rs4 route is to use the mesh found at places like Home Depot here in the states. Looks just like Rs4 mesh and is cheapo! There is a heavy duty trucking place where I get most of material that sells it even cheaper.

You can see some of my crappy pics here:

I like the RS2 mirrors and bumper on the white car - Do you have the bonnet partially covering your headlights Josh?

That exhaust manifold looks like a work of art - reminds me of the '67 Honda RA300 F1 car

One of the pics is a photoshop(the one in motion). It's not my car either. Some dude called Ali Goulet, professional snow boarder. Trying to sell it for $40,000 american bones.

Germans call it the "Boser blick" that's when metal is welded on the hood, to give it a more "mean" looking "stance".

I decided that since most people who buy coupe quattro, are audi fanatics here in the states( age ussually 25+) They might not appreciated the look if I had it welded. Therefore there is Kamie eye lids on it(selling purpose later down the road if I ever sell). Personal touches I sappose. If you notice there is no more door locking mechanisms either, audi 90 rear door handles are now in the stock door handles place, no more rear wiper..etc.. This is what happens when you plan a car out in a year advance. However even a year of planning still left me with some hmmm... "was that a good choice?".

Luckly it's a car, things can be changed.

That black one has a S4/a4/SGI Front end too.

I just happen to notice a few days ago, that the rear wing is from a Scooby SVX I think that what it's called?

Find SGI's website it's as simple as that.

They have fiber glass fenders, hoods, bumpers etc, all for tha a4 look for the B4 audis.

Hmmmmmm, not too sure I like the rear lights. Guess they do look a lot more modern than the custom cluster though.

But defo do not like the rear spoiler. To boy racer-ish.

But each to their own I guess

I cannot find any evidence of rear lights.

Just found another place that is selling RS2 bumpers - or at least I think it is:

                                Ebay Link

Can anyone understand this - it seems cheap.
