Hi, i must have missed this post before, It doesnt affect the fuel tank capacity at all, the pump is set down in a well below the rest of the tank and a cyclone created when it is running so in practice with a low tank of fuel the cyclone draws fuel so it is at a level almost at the top of the pump so it isnt a problem at all.
At the min we need a few more people to make this buy viable, so far I only have Chris M as a definite confirmed. Still awaiting details of how Jay wants to pay.
If anyone else wants one of these now is the time, a pump alone can also be supplied if thats what you want.
How much cheaper is it without the fitting bits? I think I'll take one for future fitment (as I'm itching to order the rest of the RS2 bits). Obviously I can get the rest of the bits for nothing but if it's not that much cheaper I may as well get it all from you.

with at least 3 people on the group buy can get a pump alone for £117+vat from memory, think it was about that before. Will check once get no's firmed up, but it worked out about £20 cheaper than others have bought them for.
If you can email/pm me payment details and if c card dont put all details together.
Greg I am interested in one but have one question...will your fitting kit be suitalbe for the Avant tank? Has anyone fitted one of these to an Avant yet? I would also be interested in getting it to sit lower in the tank as I dont want to run out with half a tank of fuel left.

LOL, Lee explained that earlier in the thread about the pickup. the pickup in config i have it is about 12mm higher than the standard setup, as it is it sits in a dipped area approx 25mm deep so all the fuel collects into this area, add to this the cyclone effect that is created in the tank and there is no problem what so ever with the pickup. had to run mine to near empty the other day with no probs at all.
Im not certain on the avant tank. Will have to check on that one, ben can probably tell us either way with his stealer connections?
Post (or PM me the numbers) for the bits you use on coupes and I'll do some comparisons and work out what is needed. Hadn't thought about the differences between Avant and coupe tanks.
I'll probably take the pump on it's own and 'source' the other bits. If it's only me and you, Lee, with Avants in the GB then I'm sure I can sort out the bits for you as well.

Jonas it is thru a company, I guess you can claim the vat back on the postage? not entirely sure how that works. Could do with working out what the postage cost is for it too.
Ben will pm you the P/N's if you can let me know if they are the same since get a better discount for everyone if can order more in one go, Excluding yours of course with your excellent personal discount
Greg, only reason I asked about reduced fuel capacity is because I know the Avant and Coupe tanks are very different. I am not sure if the same recess exists in the avant tank so I would have thought it would be safer to mount it at the same height as the original. Maybe the recess is there...I haven't checked yet.
I am just waiting for someone to confirm that this full kit can be used in the Avant then I'll join the group buy.

I think Jonas should be getting his goods VAT free. I will be checking with my accountant this week but I thought that if I sold goods to Europe I do not charge VAT. I have to send a load of hoses to various European customers when they are in stock so I will check the rules soon. I am VAT registered too but I am not sure I can count my own motorsport fuel pump as a legitimate business expense!! I will check that one too.

will get him to check that out too, but since they both use identical parts for the assembly i would expect the pump to sit in the lowest point in a well like the coupe does
Cool, jsut want that one checked as I know the avant tank is a very funny shape. It sits on both sides of the propshaft so I am not sure how it gets fuel from both sides. Maybe a syphon tube of some description.
