I just fitted a set of Tim's top mounts and there is definately a difference, although I did fit them in conjunction with Ben's new ally subframe mounts, Powerflex W/bone bushes and new gearbox mounts.

But judging by the state of the blue mounts that I took out which were well and truly fooked (no wonder it was tramlining so badly), it has to be worthwhile fitting these, definately recommend them.

I might be interested if they're not too expensive? How much for the stock mounts, and how much would these ones be from a group buy?

just looked into this myself.
£30 a pair for greens
£50 a pair for blues
£150 a pair for qrsport items.... but these will apparently last about 10 times as long.
Just receiced mine for the front and will soon be getting a pair for the rear too.

hi,all re top mounts.as jogi says his were £150 a pair we discounted him because he had other items aswell.they usually retail for£160+vat in the u/k and eec countries,as he says these do last for 10 yrs the rose joints are rated at 26000 lb the alloy is at30.if you are considering a groupbuy they are£140+vat for 2 mounts min order 20....10 sets.......tim

I want to try and get some definite numbers together for a group buy. Would those who are definites please pm me and then I will post a list in case anybody has been missed. As Tim quoted, price will be £140 + Vat. If we are reasonably quick, either Tim or myself could bring them along to the Baschurch meet (I live fairly close to Tim). We'll have to sort something else out for the non attendees. Once I get the list I will sort out postage costs.

Mine are shot, but how much time do they take to fit? When's the Garage Meet? I don't have the tools or the skill to do it myself and I'm sure the dealers would charge me a fortune for the labour? I'm fearing the amount of cash I'm going to have to spend on the S2 this year at the moment and I'm wondering if I might just get another set of normals - my dealer quoted £150 to replace with normal mounts.

Anyone got any comments on the rears? I reckon these are overkill for the rear mounts?
